This is Part 1 of a DIY series on how to cut, weld and build your own barbecue smoker. In this episode we take the raw materials and plasma cut them into the basic shape of our smoker. We then tack weld the four sides together. In the following episodes we will build the door, lid, drip tray and everything else included on a first class wood burning grill.

  1. hello, I'm a teenager just getting into welding. this video helped a bunch super interesting. my dad told me to make one with my grandpa, hes been giving me welding assignments every day. if anyone knows the exact dimensions, that would be great

  2. Hey please understand that Mr Tig is a world renowned tig Expert and that doing these is a little costly so keep that in mind if your just starting to weld that this may be a better project once you have a little time with your welder we love the videos thanks Mr T
