DIY Welding Clamp Squares – Beginner Project – Forme Industrious
Steel used was 40mm x 40mm x 5mm Mild Steel Angle. Support strap 50mm x 5mm Flat bar.
This is a beginner fabrication project.

G'day how do you find the cut quality of the makita cold saw? I bought one six months ago and was never happy with the cut quality. It was leaving a jagged edge so much so that one of the teeth broke off. I've returned it many times but I have been told that there is nothing wrong with it. Probably going to have to take it apart myself.

Couldn’t help seeing you Studebaker truck tailgate . I nave a 56 pickup, I spent 3years to get it finished , painted it with dark blue with rose red and lilac pearl . It’s been finished for 20 years really enjoy driving it to car showers , most folks have never seen ☝️ one . Do you have one?

Who said old dogs can't learn new tricks. I am going to build 4 of the first jig then you can build frames complete with out tacking check your measurements and adjust if you have to. I make wall brackets out 2in. x1/4 flatbar and do not need to remove the jig to weld that is great you can flip the parts and weld in any position. You need a vice on a pedestal. I made two for myself and made a trailer rotisserie. I built two trailers using it. I Showed my boss where I worked a picture of the vice he liked it so much he built 6 for the shop, great for cleaning parts any place in the shop. I have used jigs for many years and are great for repeatable parts so this video impressed me greatly. Keep up the great videos and play safe Cheers.
