8:51 instead of that I would not let it cure completely. I would let it 1-2 hours until it gets like a gel state, and then do the "main" pour. It will stick very well
Excellent instructional video, very nicely done!
Absolutely beautiful. One point through – if I was commissioning the table from you I think I would specify a much lighter blue coloured resin epoxy , possibly layered with clear epoxy underneath to mimic river water, rather than the dark blue/black that you use. That's not to say that the end product wasn't beautiful – it was.
Hey so I'm finishing my form can I use devcon 2 part 5 minute epoxy to do the edes? I was going to shellac the top so I don't get any color penetrating my red cedar im using..great videos let me know..
Hi Cam, would you advise as much as possible to avoid fixing threaded inserts in the hardened resin? Have you made a video of what happened if you drill in and fix a threaded insert in resin to show what could happen?
Had to dislike video too many fucking ads asshole!
You don’t have clients you have customers you are not a fiduciary brah
Awesome informative video …. I've made 5 river tables and found your video very helpful that taught me several things. In your video you asked if anyone had left the bark on the slab. I have done done several leaving the bark on (in the epoxy river) for the look, and it has worked fine, although I have since taken your suggestion to seal the edges & bark and that helped dramatically to reduce the bubbles coming out of the live edge.
