DIY Welding Project: Fire Pit
#diywelding #weldingprojects #welding
Watch as Joel Ort with Hobart Welding Products walks through step-by-step instructions on how to create a fire pit using the Handler® 210 MIG welder.
The Handler 210MVP is the only Hobart MIG welder to offer the Multi-Voltage Plug (MVP), which allows you to easily connect to 120V or 240V power. It also offers seven output voltage settings and infinite wire feed speed control, making the unit easy to adjust for different materials, thicknesses and wires. The quick-change drive roll system allows you to change wire types and widths quickly. Paired with the AirForce™ 27i, which provides a more precise cut, thinner kerf, and less slag to clean up, you’ll have this project done in no time.

Great build, Joel. Question for you. What were you dimensions on the top and bottom of your sheets and what angle did you set it at? 45 degrees I assume.
Hobart continues to build the best equipment for the money. The blue and red machines are overpriced circuit boards that will be thrown away after they go “pop”!
Is there a template/blueprint for this? Or just the measurements for the fire box itself would be helpful as well.
Could you send me the plans or the Fire Pit Project at jetlag74@aol.com. Thank you Robert
