  1. Ive commented this before on other videos but beginners and “DIYers” shouldn’t touch tile, especially kerdi or ditra. I’ve made most of my money ripping out improperly installed jobs. Some that were even installed by people who said they knew what they were doing. In the long term you are wasting more money you thought you were saving when you did it yourself or just hired the cheapest guy. Not to mention with showers you can cause serious damage to the substrates. Not trying to be negative either.

    Its the same as when I hire someone to install major electrical work. Even though I can install an outlet or switch I know my limits. I also know what issues can come of improper installation.
