Beautiful weld, thanks for sharing, that helps for my first welding project where I'm going to make our own carport using 16 gauge square tube.
Excellent Tig welding is a thing of beauty.
Did you notice how Mr. Moffatt "showers" the weld with the afterglow gas to let it cool down in a inert (gas) environment?
What are the settings for the welder and what electrode is this??? Somehow I didn't catch this.....
This is a great video. I own a cheese factory, do a lot of my own work around the factory but I have never welded before. I am really inspired to begin down the path of learning how to weld square tube so we can build cheese ripening racks. Can anyone recommend a beginner welding set up or do you have video on that?

Those raw welds around the 7:50 mark are so nice! Seems a shame to clean them up with a flap disc. They should be on display!
