- How serious was this video ??? How many times can anyone sit on these before the come apart ??? Single screws, really. They're attractive, just for show.
I built this stool last week. It wasn't very comfortable when I tried it out in our kitchen bar. . I decided to do a little remodeling. I took it apart. The screws that I thought were screwed in tight were a little loose and the legs and stretchers we easy to twist . It was easy to build but might fall apart after a couple of weeks of use. I shortened the legs some by removing the bottom pieces. I put some cross braces about six inches below the seat. Lastly, I applied glue on those parts that were screwed together. Marking of the location of the screws was very helpful. I have built other stools and sometimes I make a hole for the screws which hits the other screw. Also, it was easier to keep it plumb and square. The combination of glue and screws made it sturdy and should last for a long time.
Hah, easy peasy)))
This little stepstool has been a lifesaver in the showerσσ>share4.photo/UFoldStool?I61 I needed something to rest my foot on to shave my legs in the shower to raise my leg and this fit the bill perfectly. It does slide a bit,so be aware of that.
