Hi all – I am beyond thrilled to be posting this video. Today I am showing you our new kitchen! This remodel took about 2 months and the total cost was under $500 (including painting materials, etc, but not including the sander). We’ve never tackled a DIY project before, so it certainly was lot of fun and we did learn a lot. Please keep in mind, we are not professionals, but this works for us and we are thrilled with the results. This will get us by until we can afford a “real” remodel. You can get that contact paper for the counters and it gives it a faux granite or whatever you're looking for finish.
Love it!! We have laminate counters and we were looking into epoxy to give them a nice marble like appearance. If you just google " epoxy kitchen counters " or type it into youtube and all kids of videos will pop up:)
We used the countertop kit over 7 years ago! The house we did it in has been a rental for the last 4 years and it’s held up really well! Highly recommend!

Wow that looks great and it is so much brighter and lighter now! We are trying to save for a kitchen remodel too- so expensive!! I like the yellow wall paint, we have a similar color in our kitchen.
