Why are people so focused on the clothes washer hoses? What about the supply tubes to your sink and toilet?
I would recommend putting in a battery water alarm under the sinks...I got that from the TWIN HOME EXPERTS channel. check it out, their great>

Tsk tsk on the drain under the sink. One drain can siphon water out of the other drain.

How about faucets that have integrated, non-replaceable stainless braided hoses? Replace the faucet every 3-5 years?
