This is Part 1 of a DIY series on how to cut, weld and build your own barbecue smoker. In this episode we take the raw materials and plasma cut them into the basic shape of our smoker. We then tack weld the four sides together. In the following episodes we will build the door, lid, drip tray and everything else included on a first class wood burning grill.

Tig for a smoker seems a little overkill. Mig or even stick that puppy. Save a lot of time.
hello, I'm a teenager just getting into welding. this video helped a bunch super interesting. my dad told me to make one with my grandpa, hes been giving me welding assignments every day. if anyone knows the exact dimensions, that would be great
