I agree with getting rid of the "run of the mill" builders fixtures, my pet dislike is small plain skirting boards.

I have a enclosed patio with exterior stucco walls inside the room and Saltillo tile floors. Really hard to hang art on the stucco! Need help with this room. It has 3 sets of French door to outside. Cannot laminate over the Saltillo. So thinking wall to wall carpet. Many wood paneling on the walls. Need to install a closet wall too. Will be an office and dressing area.
First is door then living room and my master bathroom
