In this video i show how i installed the kitchen cabinet boxes for the base cabinets and the wall cabinets. The kitchen has an island bar in the center to seat 4 – 5. The island construction starts with a wood wall frame and then wainscoting using tongue and groove 3″ finished boards. I show how i made two 5″ x 5″ posts to finish off the ends of the island wall. The posts are cut to 40 1/2″ for a total of 42″ when the counter is in place. The knew posts have a special routed edge on all 4 corners and are painted the green to match the kitchen cabinet doors.
The masons ( Dave and Denny ) are from Erie, PA and are installing the cultured stone in the kitchen. They are journeyman masons and have been doing it all there lives.
The kitchen cabinet doors are completely finished with a green conversion varnish and will arrive shortly right on time for the final part 4.
