this is part 1 of tig welding a stainless steel argon purge box.
Sometimes you need to weld small and weirdly shaped parts that can benefit from having an argon purge to all areas of the part. A custom modified wrench, welding a stainless washer to a nut, or even titanium foot pegs for a motorcycle might benefit from being welding in a small argon box like this one.

Thanks for your videos Jodie fun fact I never welded aluminum and I really needed to get this job few years ago so I watched your videos a whole day before the test pretending I was holding the torch and the next day believe it or not I got the job and passed the welding test even thought I had never touched aluminum.. thanks to you bud :)))
Hi Jody, I love your videos. I'm extremely new to TIG welding (never done it before) and not adverse to buying your Furick transparent cups. Assuming a man purchased a Lincoln Speedtec215C welder, what type of TIG torch would you recommend to compliment that? Thanks.

I notice he's intentionally letting the tungsten stick at the end of the weld, I presume to help keep argon flowing at the end of the bead, but that can't be ideal for the tip of the tungsten? What's the reason for this?

Nice video ! What kind diffuser is this in a clean box? You could send a link. I use classic diffusers from gas lenses. Which are found on jumbo lenses. Thank you for advice. Good luck.
