What is that little copper thing inside the shark bite, is it the compression fitting ?
Trying to fix a kitchen sink leak I've totally removed the nut from my multi turn valve. Now the nut it's not catching on to the thread to re- tighten it. I've already tried cleaning with steel wool.. Any other suggestions
On the old school compression valves can’t you just replace the washers?
I had a kitchen faucet replaced, now no hot water but full pressure. Help

Just wanted to say that after watching video after video this is the one that finally helped me complete this replacement. The compression ring didn’t come off quite as simple but it eventually did. Followed it up with a shark bite fitting and it worked flawlessly. Thank you again.
