I can't believe that Miranda Lambert said her trailer was rode hard and put away wet. How gross and very inappropriate and very derogatory towards women. I would think that in this age of the me too movement, she could have chosen better words and at the very least HGTV should have edited that out.
Audrey Vorkoeper, “rode hard and put away wet” is a reference to horses, not women. It has been a way of saying “used hard and not taken care of” forever. I say it all the time and never even thought about it in reference to women.
