Mini Vlog 1 – Central Heating Installation Part 1

Well, work on the house has FINALLY started, this was supposed to have all been done at the beginning of October, yet here we are in mid-December. I’m going to do a series of mini v-logs on the progress of the work being done, first, we are having central heating installed, and a new shower. Not very interesting I know, but as some of you wanted to know what was going on, here ya go. I tell you, getting up at 8am is not fun.

  • it must be the gas pipe they routed outside. probably easiest way to route it. Natural gas won't freeze outside unlike water.

  • Things are done somewhat differently in the US, but I have seen radiators like your new versions on my UK trips. It looks like the heater presently in your room is a French electric radiator. My house is torn up for a bath remodel now, and I do not like it much. Will not be finished here until January.

  • I have to say that gas pipe snaking all around the front and side of your house is an appalling piece of work, makes the house look a right mess.

  • This looks like you have an opportunity for you to repaint your room Clem just in time for new year and a new beginning. The marks on the wall where you have tried to clean, that might be soot from all the years of soldering you have been doing with no ventilation.

  • Still have ducted warm air heating in my house- big in canada but not very popular here in the UK. It was a 70's fad and rather old and inefficient
