This is the replacement dishwasher install. It is a Samsung DW80K7050US model that is supposed to match the stove but there is a difference in the stainless color and finish between the 2. Fingerprints show more and are harder to remove from the dishwasher then the stove. Must be different Chinese factories use different finishes.

Thankyou so much for posting this! I am in the middle of installing a very similar model and it's definitely not a typical situation. I am fitting it into an opening between the end of my counter, and the side wall of a pantry where the Washing machine hookup was!! I finally got the new laundry room set ups and wanted to utilize the space for a dishwasher. Several of the steps you showed here have definitely pointed me in the right direction. Thanks again!
it's no wonder you are "unemployed"...you are teaching people incorrect jack-leg techniques.
You are NEVER EVER EVER supposed to push the dishwasher into the recess any further than side rubber seals. And WHY would you spend so much time energy and effort to install it the wrong way?
The CORRECT WAY:
Basically, when the door of the dishwasher is open, the face frame of the cabinet and the interior of the dishwasher walls should be flush to each other. This is EXACTLY WHY the mounting holes in the sides of the Dishwasher have a setback of about 3/4 inch, because in the cabinet industry, a face frame is the same...3/4ths of an inch.
So why do you NOT want the unit to be recessed FURTHER than the rubber seal? The MAIN REASON is because during the drying mode, the steam will collect back in your cabinets and ruin them by warping them. IT IS ENGINEERED TO DISSIPATE THE STEAM THRU THE TOP.
Furthermore the Engineers didn't put those rubber gaskets on the sides for no reason.
ENGINEERS PUT THE RUBBER THERE TO KEEP MOISTURE OUT..BOTH STEAM AND LIQUID WATER
So I guess if we give it a few years and you will be doing more remodel videos, because you will need to replace your kitchen base cabinets to replace the warped ones RUINED BY YOUR HACK JOB DISHWASHER INSTALLATION!.
Great video. I just ordered the Samsung DW80R5061US. This will be a big help for me. Would you say it would be easier to connect the power cord when you had the dishwasher on it's back rather than waiting until it is almost fully installed?
Samsung is not a China company. It’s headquarter is in Korea. You said “China”. Did your unit say “ Made in China”?
My Dishwasher did not include the Side Mount Screws. The manual doses not specify the screw size, and Samsung does not sell them if you can believe that. I went to the HD near me and picked up the largest Flat Head screws they had (#14) and it passes right through the provided mounting hole any larger sized screw probably will not pass the internal opening. Can you share with us the screw size you used and any additional parts that may not have been included with the installation kit, aside from what you have already described in your video?
!!!
top notch work you do - and your video quality is great too - voice over, editing.... awesome!!!
Great help on The leveling from inside.
