I have made the drawers for the breakfast bar. The boxes for the drawers are constructed in the same manner as the drawers in the rest of the kitchen. The side are held together with a tongue and groove joint with glue. The bottoms are held in a dado running around the bottom of the drawer sides, with no glue. The drawer fronts are made separately from the boxes. They are made of the same khaya as the breakfast bar top. The pulls are made from the same wood and run the full length of the drawer.

Finally... the magnet! THANKS LOL!
That little door is by far the best feature of the kitchen. So unique, fun and practical.
2:40, Nintendooo!
I don’t even do woodworking. A video of franks just randomly appeared on my timeline and since then I’ve watched like 80 vids. This kitchen remodel playlist is amazing. These vids are so therapeutic
Omg
Great video. The large area of birch plywood looks like it is not finished. Maybe a bit of stain to match the colors, so it doesn’t look like it is waiting for cabinets to be installed? Love the channel.
Very nice work!
The end was funny
beautiful kitchen
I'm wondering if the khaya you used for the breakfast bar is actually kia which is a Hawai'ian kind of mahogany?
