Waterproofing bathroom floors doesn’t have to be hard. Hydro Ban is very easy to use but the floor has to be clean and free of dust.
This basement bathroom was self-leveled in a prior video (https://youtu.be/FkISoSgt5_M), and only needed waterproofed prior to tile.
Hydro Ban is fast and easy to use. Only a paint brush and roller are required.
Apply painter’s tape to the tub and apply Hydro Ban around the bathroom perimeter using a paint brush. Then waterproof the rest of the floor with the paint roller.
Use a wet film gauge to check the thickness and follow Laticrete’s suggestions for application.
