I have a question ... I have a kitchen table a dark Mable all wood. I fix a scratch with alittle stain... but than decided to stain the whole table.... BIG MISTAKE... what you recommend.... table is dry but still tacky and finger print magnet... PLEASE HELP. THANK YOU Armando from Monee. ILL
Thank you for making these videos. I am learning a lot but also I am making some many mistakes. This is my first time doing some repairs to my furniture and I thought I was ready to start with my second project since the first one was success. Only that this time everything was so wrong. Here is why. I got lucky and won an auction of a fabulous poster bed (Coaster Grand Prado Canopy Bed). During the move, the posts got scratches all over so I bought some stain markers to cover the scratches and to the repair mentioned in this video. It seemed to be working just fine. I waited 15 minutes and applied polyurethane just to fill the void areas as explained in the video, waited for about 2 hours to dry and I sanded the whole post with a 220 sandpaper and here is my nightmare...because of the surface of the post, the sand paper removed some of the stain that didn't need a retouch. I swear I sanded it softly. What do I do now? Please :( I am so scared of ruining.
