Are you doing this on porcelain tile? I have a small chip on ceramic floor tile. Would the porcelain glazing be compatible?

Very useful video, thanks for sharing! I know it was months ago, but my son just dropped a weight and took a chip out of a tile and this will help me fix it. Your videos are always helpful, thanks for putting them up.
I’m looking for my own diy purposes but if I had hired a professional and they chipped my tile they would be replacing my tile on their dime for their own mistakes.
When you add stain should stain be waterproof or is the porcelain glaze waterproof please ?

"A little dab will do ya" . Old enough to remember the Brill Cream commercials....I love it!
You could also try super glue and baking soda. It dries up in a minute and is super hard. The color comes out a whitish gray. You can shape it with a razor and fine sandpaper. The finish is like a matte finish not glossy though.
