Been doing this for over 25 years. Putting in flooring first is almost never done. What if tile was going down over plywood subfloor? Screwing through tile just made your job harder. Also what if you need shims or a toe screw if it's hardwood flooring you'll screw up the finish.
So far after watching his videos he never shows you what to do if your cabinet does not hit a stud and I only had one start because not every cabinet is 16 in apart
why is this VIDEO so INCOMPLETE.. is it me or where is the THIRD CABINET according to the PRINTS…..why was not INSTALLED. and yeahh thought he was PRO..on the SHIMM why he did not scribe with knife..and they break SMOOTH and just break them with HAMMER…
Pretty cool way to install base cabinets even with existing flooring.
I think it's important to tell folks that the cabinets you're installing are solid wood that's why you can join then together with 1-1/4 screws through the side And not 2-1/2 through the face frame, (countersunk of course)
This guy is accurate to the 16th of an inch
a lot of work when floor and wall not level…
I agree about installing the cabinets first. Just a waste of money on flooring that you will never see.
Mr. Silva, I am in Cambridge, MA and need an skilled and honest carpenter that can disassemble and reassemble the Lazy Susan as it seems to let a mouse in through some small hole or holes. Could you suggest a couple of professionals or send "your crew?"
