How to Grow Lots of Garlic | Planting to Harvest

GROWING TIPS:-
Break apart cloves from the bulb a few days before planting, but keep the papery husk on each individual clove.
Place cloves 2 to 4 inches apart and 2 inches deep, in their upright position (the wide root side facing down and pointed end facing up).

A good mix of garden soil, compost with a little bit of builder’s sand will give you the drainage, moisture retention, and nutrients necessary for growing garlic in containers.

Position the container somewhere that gets at least six hours of direct sunlight on most days, and keep the soil moist but not soggy.

Harvest when the tops just begin to yellow and fall over, but before they are completely dry.

GROWING TIME : SEPTEMBER TO DECEMBER (when the temperature is in the range of 50-85 F (10-30 C))
