How to Cut Through a Concrete Foundation – Bathroom Plumbing

Learn how to cut into a basement floor, the foundation of the house, in order to do some plumbing for a bathtub. In this video, you’ll see the cutting, using a sledge hammer to break out the concrete, the gravel underneath and the plans for the plumbing. I used a standard Skil saw and a cheap diamond blade to do the job.

  • Also if your concrete slab is too deep for your blade. You can use a technique called "Step Cutting". Easy process and you can find videos of the process on YouTube.

  • You also needed to chase it with a chisel , Buddy... What's his name? Mike or Dennis? LOL - 5:49

  • All the Mr Know It All commenters in these instructional videos by The Pros are so cringy.
