How a Foundation Works for a Walk out Basement

I show you how and why a concrete foundation needs to be minimum 48 inches below grade (ground level) to protect from frost. This will help you visualize and understand what’s involved in a walkout basement and why it’s an upgraded design feature in any home. For an apprentice carpenter it’s hard to understand without seeing it in real life so I hope this can help somebody out there.
