DIY bench out of horseshoes made with the arc or stick welder, easy projects you can make in a weekend. Simple construction, butt them next to each other and weld them together! I switched over to 3.2mm rods for better penetration and joins.

Originally i just wanted a arch but without a lot of bracing it was fairly unstable with a lot of flex so i changed it into a bench.

Tools needed were really simple, any semi decent arc welder,
Also you would ideally grind them down first but i couldnt be bothered, with 3.2mm you dont really need to. It melts deeply and well, take your time, listen for a noise like bacon sizzling. Too much splatter? Probably too much power.
Music with many thanks

Hi Bongo, addicted to your videos, I do similar but with mortgage and hence job time is slim... Where do you get horseshoes from? I am in horsey country or worcestershire but cant seem to lay my hands on any quantity. BikerPaul2003
I've been looking for projects I can do with my everlast welder. I just wish I had access to as many horseshoes as you had. It looks like a fun project.
as soon as you sit down you'll be covered in rust...

Wow and all done with a stick welder. For a lot of welding I use my everlast mig welder. Mig welding is much more productive I find. No knocking off the slag and changing electrodes when they are too short.
Where can you buy hose shoes in bulk
Sounds like you aren't feeding your rod in enough
