This house looks great, but my main problem is that this a 4 bedroom and 1 bathroom, it should have been 2 bathrooms, but other than that it's Beautiful.
burn the curtains
His designs are hits and misses for me and this one was a miss. Sorry, but this design was too personal, like most of his work...
This is the best one yet to me
I love the house, but I can't believe you didn't keep that beautiful craftsman mantel.

The mantel redo stinks. Hate the wood ceiling and the shakes on the exterior. It's design that is too similar to mid century builder/developer schlock. Not a fan of the dining area, way too dark, looks darker than the batcave.
Like the marble backsplash. Not sure the second beam is well placed. Kitchen seems shorted design-wise. Some of the cabinets should have gone up to the ceiling rather than have a bulkhead/soffit. The fridge could have had storage for a large pot and sheet pans above. The island should have been a peninsula. Could have done open shelving to the left of the sink to deal with the beams. The tiny doorway to the stairs is a no-no.
Should have at least added a half bath downstairs.
The super big bedroom is as bad as a small one, again better use of space would have done more. Maybe tuck some walk-in closets along the one wall. Did like how they redid the bath, what I saw of it, except the mural...
Make the house threes bedrooms with two bathrooms. First floor bathroom and mud room and laundry! Instead of the bedroom!
The home is nice but you should of invest in adding additional bathroom.
If you pay attention to the video you can see that the marble backsplash is really badly finished, the sink looks cheap and horrible. None of the divisions match with the same style and vibe. They changed the ceiling but they didn´t even bother with isolation lol
In the end the house looks ´´good`` but with really bad finishes, bad quality and not really though out.
This home says sleek, comfortable and one-of-a-kind design to me. There is a big Market out there for a lot of younger new home buyers. especially first time homebuyers. Great job!
