  1. Love the bench and the idea of using a blanket! You didn't appear to have trouble cutting the foam, but thought I would give you a suggestion. My Mom always used her electric carving knife to cut foam.

  2. The blanket was a great idea and the rest of it would make a cool fringed wall hanging. Also a wood shelf across the bottom would look good and be functional! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  3. I am not a sewer or upholsterer and dont have a cutting mat….. but is there any reason why I cannot put my benchtop upside down on the foam to trace and cut it
