You cannot make it very far on YouTube in the personal finance section without coming across hundreds of thousands comments that recommend the credit repair services of Andy Hacks Credit Repair.
You might think that it would be ridiculous to think that a website with that name would be worth a 2nd glance, but there are millions of Americans who have credit issues and credit problems that they are trying to fix and are willing to take these kinds of risks to get a quick solution to a problem.
In this video, we are talking about why Andy Hacks Credit Repair is not a legitimate solution to your credit issues, why Andy Hacks Credit Repair is dangerous to your identity, and also what happened when I tried to reach out directly to Andy Hack Credit Repair.
ANDY HACKS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE CREDIT REPAIR COMPANY:
Thinking about this logically, it is a company that gets its business marketing completed through YouTube comments that promises amazing changes to your credit score in weeks and maybe a month or two. This is just ridiculous.
It also is a clear misrepresentation of your credit profile. Lenders use your credit report and credit score to make lending decisions because it gives them information on how you have paid debts in the past. If there is in fact incorrect information on your credit report, there is a clearly defined process by which you can dispute that and a credit repair company that you meet with in person or locally can assist you in getting that information removed or you can just do it yourself.
BUT, doing things like adding authorized user trade lines to your credit repair or having information removed that IS legitimate clearly misrepresents your history. It represents a false image of you to lenders and leads them to believe there is less risk in a transaction then there actually is.
WHY ANDY HACKS IS DANGEROUS FOR YOUR IDENTITY:
Think about this for a second. Here you have a company with the name HACKS in the title and you are also dealing with sensitive information, your Social Security Number. You expect an online-only company that talks about hacking, which requires you to provide your Social Security Number, to not only fix your credit but also to protect your SSN and not sell it or take advantage of you in some way… THAT is a risk I will NOT take.
WHAT HAPPENED WHEN I REACHED OUT TO ANDY HACKS CREDIT REPAIR:
I reached out to Andy Hacks Credit Repair to see if I could get just a little information. Their website chat option immediately went to WhatsApp where I asked if they could help me and how it actually works since I’d heard about it on YouTube and was a little skeptical. The response I got was “Get back to us when you are less skeptical…” Hm, no thank you.

Dudes a major scammer. Takes your money and never hear back from him. He is also very rude. Totally not legit. Non and I mean non of them are no matter who comments on here saying they personally have had any of them fix there credit. They don't exist. If they do have them fix your credit first then you can have the credit to pay them. If they fix it and you don't pay they can ruin it again. Win Win for both .
Don't fall victim to anyone commenting on here. Everyone is a scammer no matter what they tell you. Every last one of them are scammers . Not one that will change or hack your credit. Don't believe one fake story
