DIY Welding Table Clamps

A person can never have too many clamps. And not all clamps work for all projects. Considering the fact that I recently built a new welding table, I’m still making small modifications as I need. I’m currently working on a project that required to be clamped to the table top and after some quick research, I realized to purchase welding table clamps, I’d need a small bank loan. So necessity is the mother of all invention. A quick search on YouTube and I found several videos on how to make inexpensive welding table clamps. So it was a no brainer, save money and make my own clamps.
And although there are several video’s out there already on table clamps, I figured I’d do more of a down a dirty straight to the point kind of video.

Let me know what you think and if you have any other clamp style ideas.

Thank you for taking the time to watch my video.

  • lol. I should make some of the C clamps. With that awesome drill you have, holes should be no issue. I will say though, the F Clamps are far from Luxury. Almost spit out my coffee. I've been using mine for a while. Maybe time for an update video.

  • Thanks for the video Doug. Good use of your head and not your wallet.

  • I have made the first clamp about a year ago... that second clamp is BRILLIANT!!!

  • 1/2 in. bolt, 1/2in. rod. Ok, is hole dia.1/2 in. or 9/16? Thanks in advance.
