This DIY Outdoor Sofa or Lounge can be made with just 3 power tools. A circular saw, drill, and orbital sander where used to transform 2x6s and 2x12s into the base. I made outdoor sofa cushions using foam plywood outdoor canvas and a staple gun.

What screws are you using? And why is the wood not breaking when you screw without a guide hole first? I would love to be able to screw wood the way you're doing it but my screws always end up splitting the pieces.
What is the name of the yellow "handy device" that helped with your angles?
You know you can get the angle by using the speed square.
