DIY Grinder Or Vise Stand Welding Project
I build a grinder stand out of some square tubing, steel plate and and old brake drum from a 2 ton truck. A fun and simple welding project that doesn’t take very long. You could build it with a drill, right angle grinder mounted with a cutting wheel, a couple of carpenters squares and a MIG, TIG or ARC welder. This could work just as easily for a vise stand.

What happened to your hind leg, Bucko?
Ohh, damn. Sorry to hear. Hope you recover 100% and soon. When I was young I fell off a scaffold but it let me go bowhunting all one fall.
Great channel!
good video thanks.
your welds looked fine to me nice idea for the stand too !
Any advantage to bolting vs just welding everything together?
Nice project, I have an old brake drum and some scrap plates just need to find some tube or square stock and I will build one. Found your channel from Mike Festiva. Now that you have the CNC table next time you need to make a circle with holes you can just cut one 🙂
Nice job mate
Beautiful work! That was awesome to watch come together. Thanks for posting it.
