  • Very cool project. I see that I have missed at least one video. It seems that YouTube won't allow me to have all of my unwatched videos in the queue. How did you hold the legs in place as you were welding them on to the triangle? Your welding is definitely improving.

  • nice vid. this is just what i was looking for, i need to make a trivet or three, and i have plenty of rebar, so this is ideal.
    i already have a lid lifter, but i think yours is nicer, so may make one of those as well.

  • hey man, rebar can be really nasty, I find that a bucket of Muriatic acid sold at the hardware store does a great job of busting loose all the rust, paint, glue, even some concrete off the metal. And, heres the thing, its really cheap and REALLY fast. I clean a bucket full of metal in less than half an hour.
