DIY cnc lathe build – part 1, base frame welding

I decided to build the lathe since I have a very small one, but I am getting more work that needs a little bit more capacity and accuracy. I made the frame from 100x40x3.5 steel tubes and will machine it flat when done. I also added supports into the frame and when the frame is finished I will fill the larger rails with epoxy granite to add some vibration dampening.
