After a year in limbo, my dad and I finally finished renovating and making over the main living space in their unfinished basement! Now we have a cozy spot for friends, family, and guests to hang and crash. Hope you guys like the space as much as we do!

Is this something that you'd recommend people who have no experience to diy this or should my bf and I pay for someone to do it? We plan on moving in with his mom and living in the basement as we study in college but it needs to be worked on. Any tips for beginners would be great!
