These NO BUY DIYs are a great way to incorporate some of this year’s hottest decor trends without spending a lot of money. Today, we’re making a textured vase with DIY textured plaster paint, a Japandi inspired upcycled stool with macrame cord, some upcycled picture frames with a DIY FREE vintage botanical art hack, and some polymer clay structural candle holders.

  • I really like the stool and the candle holders. So cute! For the holders I'd use get regular clay, not polymer clay, and reinforce the ovals with wire. You can stick the pieces together by scoring them, adding a bit of water and smushing them into each other and it dries really solid even if you don't bake it in a kiln. However you'll have to be careful when putting the candle in and it's not the best choice for high traffic areas.

  • Is Patching plaster the same as plaster of Paris does it work the same
