Heh - I thought for sure you were going to cut your first hole and expose a joist, pipe or some other obstruction right above it. At least you only cut one hole before testing the can. Hope it's still going well. (I'll watch more vids later as time permits. Thanks for posting.)
I got really lucky that none of the holes had obstructions. I am happy as well that I tested the fixture after the first hole. haha. Things are going well, very busy and of course I am sick as a dog but plugging away at things. Next week I can sleep...can't wait! Thanks for watching.
When it comes to lighting you have to ballance functionallity with estetics nice work Steve.I dont have the fancy lazer i use a plumb bob and a pencil LOL

HEY MR. SCOTT!!!!! Great to hear from you! Lighting is always tricky to figure out...I try to error on the side of more than less..you can always dim them or use lower wattage bulbs. That's a fancy pants lazer for sure.. got it off the clearance table at Sears for practically nothing because it didn't work. hahaha, took it apart and found a broken wire and the rest is history. My rule of thumb is the more expensive the material, the more times you measure before you cut. LOL
