Building a Bathroom From Scratch: Timelapse

In this video, you’ll see a timelapse of me finishing my bathroom from start to finish. This is not a tutorial as much as it is an overview so you can see what’s involved. You can watch tutorial videos of many of the steps in the video on my channel. Links for them are below. There are also links to the products shown in this video that I used.

Total cost for materials was in the neighborhood of $3,000 USD.

  • Love your videos, particularly this one as I'm taking on a similar project. Question: when you broke up the concrete for the tub drain, do you see any benefit to pouring concrete to fill the hole when you were finished with the plumbing? I'm thinking of filling in the hole I broke (only 6" square) with gravel, or pea gravel - leaving easier access down the road to the trap if needed. I'm using an acrylic shower base. Thanks!

  • Where did you find the temperature digital reader for the shower?

  • Nice video man! New sub here, I really like the bathroom you did and would like to do the same. What are the dimensions of the bathroom?
