Build Your Own Skimboard – Easy DIY Summer Fun!

In this video I’m going to show you an easy way to press a DIY wooden skimboard. Take it to the waves and have fun with it!

This is the Amazon link I used to buy my plywood but check with your local lumberyards first, you can probably get a better price:

  • Can’t wait for that router mount to be available as a physical product.
Also I have been planning on a skimboard build and was thinking about just two plys of 1/8 birch. What are your thoughts on that?

  • I used plywood that was already glued together by the lumber company. I'm having trouble making the rocker could I use your method even if it's already glued together? If I wet the nose and tail?

  • i would absolutely love if you could find a simple way of making a fibreglass skim
    board
