Also I have been planning on a skimboard build and was thinking about just two plys of 1/8 birch. What are your thoughts on that?

I used plywood that was already glued together by the lumber company. I'm having trouble making the rocker could I use your method even if it's already glued together? If I wet the nose and tail?
