Glad Jasmine appreciates the esthetic of 'imperfect', even if it's because she thinks it's 'less than precious'.
That said too many people try to refinish antiques and collectibles to make them look brand new. That is the biggest mistake. They're removing patina. Patina is impossible to replicate. It adds an immeasurable interest
If an item has layers of peeling paint, that can be a valuable piece. People destroy much of the value of antiques all the time, and it is a shame.
Wouldn't be reckless with an older piece however. And a vintage couch is great.

Not a very elegant or sophisticated use of vintage. Not really my cup of tea, but I'm sure someone would love it.
Love your repurposed use of the ladders but I wonder about the practicality of it. When you have to water them isn’t the water going to run all down the beautiful white wall? Great idea though. I love repurposing
