Anthropologie DIY home decor dupes! Some easy vase upcycle ideas to give your home decor and design that natural feel!

Today I’m sharing a few ways to upcycle or update some vases. We all have those vases in our homes that can be a little boring, but we still hang on to them in hopes of “using them for something” one day. We all know that usually never happens though, right? 😉

One of the vases I’m doing a DIY on is the sought-after Anthropologie Minka Vase.

Even if you wanted to shortcut this process and buy the vase online, you’d be waiting until August to receive it since it’s on backorder. Yikes!

I’ve literally seen this vase EVERYWHERE, and many people have tried to recreate it, but it’s not the easiest vase to replicate.

I was inspired to try and recreate this vase using a cement mix (mortar will also give the same effect) and a unique texturing technique. I love how both vases turned out, and the neutral and natural aesthetic they bring to my home.
