  1. For a project that started out promising to include ALL the colors, I am disappointed in the lack of tone and accent in the pale palette. Great choices in the upholstery fabrics, but fading out to lose any visible color statement throughout

  2. Beautiful redesign. Enjoyed the whole esthetic. It pained me to watch those old wood cabinets be destroyed. Next time, please consider donating them to a habitat reuse store. A lot of people, who can't afford new, wood love access to that kind of stuff. Please recycle.

  3. I love the way you too, keep some of the old things in the houses and don't destroy them. I love the way Ben makes things out of the wood he finds in the houses. Erin you do a wonderful job on designing houses. Take care. Love your show

  4. Love, love, love the fact that when they take away storage in the kitchen (to put in the wide French doors) they understand this is a problem and actually work to find more storage elsewhere. All the other shows just rip out upper cabinets, eliminate walls, widen doors and never seem to deal with the fact that the new kitchen has little to no storage! Such a disaster. Looks beautiful on picture day, but try to actually cook in such a space! That why, in my opinion, so many of these couples have left these homes selling them or turning them into an airbnb.

  5. The color of your bathroom absolutely matters. My grandparents painted theirs a shade of green, but wound up repainting it a shade of pink, because the green they chose made them look seriously ill when they looked at themselves in the mirror.

  6. I like pink too! My walkout basement is a soft pink by BHER maybe called Zephyr. Opened up the useless bedroom wall down there and had a large floor to ceiling Taj Mahal style archway built (and other renovations). I’m getting ready for a little more pink upstairs.
