That was very helpful. Expecially you exit plan strategy about building up the niche or adding a border. Thanks
Loved this video. Great tips, especially for someone like me thinking of a remodel. On the "start out with a flat level floor" tip the idea of having a floor drain in the bathroom (outside of the tub/shower) appeals to me (easier cleaning, backup flood prevention). Any advice? Does this mean I should make the tub/shower section level and highest and the rest of the bathroom pitched toward the floor drain? Should I consider a line drain? Loved the niche, come do one for me!
Quick question guys! Why type (brand?) of glass was that in the niche? I liked that but have only personally installed slabs of stone (marble or travertine).
I noticed on the john bridge forum that someone was looking for a tiler in Pittsburgh a couple of days ago!! It may be worth a search on the site if they haven't found anyone yet.
Steve the machine!
