Very informative video. I have only used wood from my big box store and want to venture out. Question. I have a friend that wants me to build him a large deck box for outdoors. I was thinking of using the big box store redwood as my friend wants a plain coat of sealer or varnish so no stain. I am very new to wood working but have most of the tools. I have only used the deck screws for my projects so far always pre drilling holes. Confused as to whether or not i should look into nail guns (Brad Nailers) do wood workers use these instead of nails and hammer? Wish there was a manual on how to progress in wood working. Sorry for all the questions.
