Great build! For those that want to take it 1 step further::: after you grind and sand the welds, use a torch to get the joint red hot. Let it cool. The joint will disappear. Makes for a significantly cleaner look. If there are holes or pits after sanding, just fill them in with wed and do it again.
Can i do this with stick welding?
Have you tried the horse shoe motion it works pretty well with FCAW and it’s one of my personal favorite motions
Just wanted to remind any new welders of a few key principals:
Fusion is important
Never weld dirty materials to avoid contamination
If your welds have air bubbles visible it is not structural
Make some wood and steal chairs
